Add 30,000 words to Sodom All Over Again

START November 4, 2025

Getting a little late start as I had some stuff to do before I could throw myself into this.
Starting point is:

• Audiobook: 10 chapters
• Novel: 55,961 words

Ending point for November 4 is:

• Audiobook: 11 chapters
• Novel: 56,318 words (+357 words)

Ending point for November 5 is:

• Audiobook: 13 chapters
• Novel: 57,899 words (+1,581 words)

Ending point for November 10 is:

• Audiobook: 13 chapters
• Novel: 62,625 words (+1,581 words)

Note: In the past few days, I have yet again revamped my audiobook workflow. Oddly enough, I’ve gone back to Elevenlabs, but instead of using their TTS studio, I tried their voice conversion with a voice I created using their voice designer.

The ChatterboxTTS voice conversion I was doing locally was muddying some of the audio and some of the performance. For some reason, I decided to try their voice conversion with their higher quality voice models and the difference was significant. Completely cloning my voice would take 2-3 hours of audio. They say 30 minutes is the minimum, but 2-3 hours is recommended, so it’s unlikely to be something I do soon. It would be a weeklong project of 7 a.m. recording sessions, tea, early bedtimes, etc.

I’ll be back to recording chapters this week and try to catch up.
